Seed Mode

Seed mode is a sprinkler setting that is tuned to improve germination while minimizing erosion and movement of seed or Hydroseeding.

Seed Mode can be used temporarily to water zones where Hydroseed or bare grass seed has been applied. Seed Mode will:

• Rotate 5x faster so as to not displace the seed as much as possible.

• Vary the landing or dwell position laterally of the sprinkler as it works around the zone.

• Automatically offset distance by decreasing 10% of the throw on the 2nd and 4th revolution.

• Each revolution will put down 0.01" of water while still running in 0.05" increments in schedules.

To enable seed mode, tap the zone you want to enable that setting on, tap the cogwheel, and then enable seed mode at the bottom.

Seed mode will default to stay on for 30 days when enabled. If you wish to change that duration, do so by adjusting the end date. After the end date, the sprinkler head will disable seed mode & return to normal operation.

Note, using zone level setting will disable Double Coverage, a setting that would run additional revolutions at 10% reduced distance for lengths above 10' at the end of a run.
