Timeout Error

Communication between the sprinkler and the controller is failing. You may be able to find the head in a line scan but it is unresponsive to your commands (calibration, mapping, schedules).

Top Causes

● Head did not check into controller properly/receive update. Power cycle by pressing green reset button (Controller 2) or the far left reset button (Controller 3).

● Sprinkler is numbered incorrectly or conflicting with another numbered head. e.g., controller is looking for #2, but there is no #2 responding, or there are two #2s on the line. Contact Support
● Sprinkler cable connection is loose or obstructed near the head. Check connection, reconnect if necessary, taking care to not bend the internal prongs.

● Overlapping schedules on older software may have attempted to power too many sprinklers at once.

If these solutions aren't working, power cycle the system. With no schedules on, unplug the controller from the wall outlet, allow to sit for 1 hour, plug in controller, allow 1 minute for it to come back online and then reset the controller with the button reset. After a minute, attempt the boot up the head and see if it is working.

If that does not work, run a test and detect and see if you can find the head. If you see it assigned to a Zone, attempt to start up. If you see heads, but they aren't assigned to Zones, you can go ahead and assign the heads to their respective Zones. If you don't see all or some of your Zones, check your wiring connections in, out, and between those heads for loose plugs.
