Legacy Open Error

This error means the controller isn’t detecting a connection on the line.

Common causes:

• New install or recent changes: the controller may have lost connection during setup or a wire may have been pulled loose

• Loose, spliced, or faulty wiring at the controller or between heads

• Master Valve incorrectly enabled or disabled in the app (shown as a Master Valve open error)

• Failed wire or solenoid on a valve zone (shown as a Valve Zone open error)

Check wiring based on the zone shown in the error. For example, if you see Open Line Error Zone 2, inspect the wires going into and out of Zone 2 and make sure they’re secure.

Clear the error after fixing the issue or after successful testing.
