Sprinkler 2ErrorsOpen Error

Open Error

Open Error

Line is ‘open’ and there is no connection.

Top Causes

● Occasionally, if newly installed, the head might throw that error as the controller was looking for heads during connection OR the previously installed heads were disconnected (either by you or by wire getting pulled underground). You should first try clearing the error and then retry.

● Faulty wiring or loose connections on your controller terminal connection points. Check the wiring at the board and between heads if error is further down the line.
● Incorrectly enabled/disabled Master Valve in app’s System Setup page. Would be indicated by a 'Master Valve' open error.

● Wire from controller terminal to a traditional solenoid has completely failed (or solenoid itself). Would be indicated by a 'Valve Zone' open error.

Check your cable connections based on the error. For example, if you see 'Open Line Error Zone 2,' check the wire coming in and going out of Zone 2 and make sure that they are securely connected. Clear the error and continue using the sprinkler or clear after testing and detecting.
