Smart Controller 2Failing Connection

Failing

Failing Connection

Failing and Sync Failed are two statuses that happen when the controller's local network is not being broadcasted for you to connect to - this can happen for a few reasons. The Main reasons are:

-Local network is not enabled on iOS settings
-Controller is dead (transformer, fuse, or power cable [troubleshoot below])
-Android syncing failures (check for app updates)

The Irrigreen Smart Controller broadcasts its own network for you to connect to, allowing sprinkler functionality if you lose internet. It is also used to transition the controller over to your local Wi-Fi network.

Ensure your controller is plugged in and the lights are on. Check that your Wi-Fi router is on and broadcasting an internet signal in your internet settings. Always start with a reboot. Press the green ‘RESET’ button on your controller and wait 30 seconds before re-connecting. Make sure you've granted Irrigreen app local network connections. Enable Local Network on the Irrigreen app if you're on iOS (app settings), this is not needed with Android.

Follow the next steps to ensure that your controller is working properly.
