Irrigreen's Auto Water uses weather data to give your lawn the right amount of water on a weekly basis. Scheduled watering may skip, run shorter, or run longer as Auto Water reacts to what your lawn needs combined with the weather.
Auto Water works with traditional valves too!
Our weather data comes from Weather Underground and adjusts water amounts based around that info. This creates a 7-day rolling average of precipitation and evaporation based on your lawn characteristics. Forecasted precipitation amounts are also taken into schedule adjustments, all of which may change your schedule's ETA daily.

This feature can be enabled by using the on/off toggle for Auto Watering in the Irrigreen Mobile app settings from the More (...) page.
When you toggle on 'Enabled' within the Auto Watering menu, all your zones will appear. Based on the soil, grass, and light exposure you entered for the zone when calibrating, the system will have a recommend field.
The recommended line always remains center. We advise starting there to begin; but based on the results, you can increase individual zones to be 'drier' or 'wetter.'
All adjustments move in 5-10% increments based on recommended starting point. You can adjust in the individual Zones tab or in the Auto Water settings tab.
You also have global control to adjust all at once.
Turning off Auto Water will revert your system to water based on inches of water set in your schedules. Note: one full rotation equates to 0.05” applied to your lawn. Increments of +/- 0.05” will add or subtract rotations.
Auto Water determines its recommendation based on the grass, soil, and light exposure you enter at the time of calibration.
If you skipped this portion during calibration or need to make edits, navigate to Zones, tap into the zone you'd like to adjust, and then the lawn icon. This will run you through prompts again so you can decide from there.
Auto Water enhances water savings and keeps your lawn as green and healthy as possible by calculating and applying the right amount of water for your lawn.
Just remember that when you turn on Auto Water that the controller needs at least 30 minutes before its next runtime to gather all weather data.
